The challenge
St Columba’s (Ui) Chapel is a ruined church of significant historic interest and an ancient burial site. It had fallen into disrepair, leaving the structure unstable and decaying.
Our work
Working closely with the conservation engineer, we repaired and consolidated the weaknesses in the structure under a temporary roof.
- Gravestones protected, cleaned and preserved, some relocated within the covered area
- Hard landscaping for easier access
